Point Pinos Light

The oldest active lighthouse on the West Coast is located at the western
edge of the town of Pacific Grove, near Monterey. Pinos has shone since 1855,
and the building, third-order lens and prisms of the light are all original.
It's a beautiful old light, with
interesting architecture.
The lighthouse is fenced off and surrounded by a golfcourse. The
