Starting at the northern end of the Chesapeake, where the mighty Susquehanna River enters into the Bay, the diminutive but historical Concord Point Lighthouse sits in the quaint town of Havre de Grace. Moving down the western shore, Sandy Point Shoal Lighthouse sits offshore just north of the Bay Bridge. Further down the peninsula, near the mouth of the Patuxent River, Drum Point Lighthouse shines from a spot in the beautful Bay town of Solomon's, Maryland.

Just west of Drum Point light, across the peninsula and on the shores of the Potomac River is the newly restored Piney Point Lighthouse, once called the Lighthouse of Presidents. Following the Potomac down to where it empties into the bay at Point Lookout State Park, we find Point Lookout Lighthouse.

Back across the Bay Bridge at Annapolis, and driving south to the picturesque town of St. Michaels, Hooper Strait Lighthouse sits withing the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Finally, down at the southern end of the Bay, guarding Hampton Roads channel, is Old Point Comfort Lighthouse.
